ADVICE FROM THE DOCTOR
Getting Organized
All of us want our wedding to be perfect in every way. It’s not just about the wedding dress, it’s about everything. It is completely natural to become overwhelmed with anxiety and stress out because you have a million things to cater to.
Hence, it is of immense importance that you organize things earlier before you mess up or miss something altogether. A number of ways you can use to get organized for your wedding are discussed below.
- Make a to-do list
To make life easy for yourself, get hold of a pen and paper and start writing everything down. Sit with your partner and list down all the things that need to be done. This way you will help yourself get the hang of all the awaiting chores. Later you can pick one up and plan how it needs to be done. If you are tech-savvy, you can also use a notepad on your phone to do the task.
- Sequence out tasks
After you make a checklist of tasks, have a closer look at all of them and separate that huge rundown into sensible parts. Specify each task a place in the list. The ones that are the most important or need more time should be placed above the others. At that point, you can chose what’s most vital to be handled right away and what can be put on hold for later.
- Set your budget
One thing that will help you in organizing yourself is setting out a budget for yourself. Whether it be the venue, your outfit or makeover, you can allocate the amount of your budget that will be spent on each niche. This will save you from confusion and fuss later.
- Start early
If you want to avoid haste in the process of preparing for your wedding- start early! By doing so you can avoid anxiousness and stress for running out of time that might disorganize things.
That’s how you can spare yourself time to fix – if something goes wrong, take a deep breath and give time to your own self before the big day.
